Language Teachers (CCELT) 
The Commission for Certified English Language Teachers (CCELT) is an independent accrediting agency for English teachers and TESOL qualifying teaching professionals.  Based on an expertly designed framework and standards, we accredit English language teachers with key focuses on leveled benchmarks and criteria. Our newly devised certifying schemes provide clear guidelines and requirements for assessment. Applicants are well informed of their skills and competencies before seeking for teaching posts. Schools and employers use CCELT’s framework when acquiring new recruitments.

 

CCELT adopts the philosophy of International Teachers where one has to continuously improve competencies through lifelong learning. Our team behind conducts research and development on Teaching Performance Management (TPM) that is comparable to international standards. We educate and foster this knowledge through regular meetings and seminars held specifically for our members. With members still growing in many regions, CCELT´s reputation and its high quality accreditation system will continue to lead our members stand out from others in this competitive world.

OBJECTIVES

1. Continue facilitating the development, review and implementation of English teachers’ quality assurance mechanisms.

2. Assist private professional and vocational institutional bodies to carry out their internal assessments for English teachers.

3. Develop, review and disseminate criteria for TESOL programmatic accreditation mechanisms and procedures.

4. Undertake accreditation services for professional and vocational institutions.

The Commission for Certified English Language Teachers (CCELT) is an independent accrediting agency established solely for the betterment of English teachers and TESOL trained qualifying professionals. Our commitment is to fulfill the needs of all English teachers worldwide who are actively seeking for skills accreditation.

 

CCELT is registered in the USA. The commission is managed by the executive board nominated on a yearly basis. Since establishment, our accreditation services has been recognized by students, agents and governmental officials as the clearest mark of educational quality in the private sector.

CERTIFYING SCHEME

CCELT accredits English teachers in 3 Levels as:

 

Level 1 – Entrant Teacher Status

Level 2 – Associate Teacher Status

Level 3 – Senior Teachers Status
